Your Invitation
You are invited to submit
an abstract for the 18th Annual National Interdisciplinary Breast
Conference to be held on March 1-5, 2008 at The Planet Hollywood Resort
& Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an opportunity to share
research, programs, and results with others. The goal of this session is
to facilitate communication among the various breast care centers and
advance knowledge that will prove to be useful to our members. Last year
there were more than 50 posters from across the United States, Canada,
Europe and Asia. There are two categories of abstracts with
subcategories. Please choose the category and subcategory that best fits
your abstract. A special invitation is extended to those in training in
breast diseases, radiology technology, medical oncology, and breast
oncology fellowships. Our conference represents a unique environment to
interact with dedicated professionals in breast care, ranging from
internationally recognized leaders in academia and leaders in their
respective fields to those in the front lines including our radiology
technologists and administrators. The NCBC represents the only format of
its kind in Multidisciplinary Breast Care.
To Participate
To participate, email
your abstract to the NCBC office at NCBCabstracts@breastcare.org by the
due date, January 25, 2008. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Your
submission(s) will be peer reviewed and the abstract author(s) notified
of abstract acceptance for poster display at the 2008 conference. Many
conference guests visit posters and look forward to discussions with the
authors and representatives. All ideas are welcome for consideration.
Our peer review panel will invite one author from each of the two major
categories to present their abstract orally during the oral poster
session on Sunday, March 2. Met with tremendous success in 2007, the
NCBC conference will once again host a special Poster Review and
Discussion Reception on the evening of Sunday, March 2.
