Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are actively recruiting for dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) in our Brest Health Center.  We have a several opportunities available for a demonstrated CNS who is looking for a challenge in a premier Medical Center such as California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC).

Serving more than 200,000 patients annually, California Pacific Medical Center (located in beautiful San Francisco) provides a wide variety of services including: acute hospital care, a full range of post-acute care, home care and hospice services, outpatient medical care, and preventive, complementary, and educational services. The Medical Center also provides professional education and basic biomedical, clinical and behavioral research. Today, with its 1,254 licensed acute care beds and 25 residential beds, California Pacific Medical Center is one of the largest private, non-profit academic medical centers in California.

Breast Health Center is a Comprehensive Breast Health Center.  The Breast Health Center is a busy group that sees about 175-200 patients daily.  We are open Saturdays.  We have a leading and cutting edge department.  Next year we are moving to a brand new, all digital department with significant additional upgrades.

Education:  Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of California with a Master's degree.

Knowledge:  Excellent interpersonal skills.  Effective public speaking and teaching skills.  Commitment to continual improvement in clinical skills and knowledge base.

Experience:  A Master's prepared RN or Nurse Practitioner, with three years of experience in oncology, or completion of comprehensive continuing education program in breast health and breast cancer in lieu of clinical experience.
