View National Quality Measures for Breast Centers™
Report Samples Currently Under Construction

One of the great values of the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers™ Program is the ability to enter data and IMMEDIATELY see how you compare with "like" centers and with all participating centers from across the country!  These comparisons will appear in two different types of reports.

The first report will show, for each quality measure, your data plus the mean, median and mode representing the cumulative data from all selected participants.  But that is not all.  We did not want to show just the averages or middle values for the quality measures, we want the you to to see how you see the values of the top and bottom quartiles and be able to compare your score with the top and bottom!  By including this information, you will know where the top25% score falls and you will be able to see if your score falls in the top 25% of respondents for that quality measure.

The second report will show each quality measure over time. Data can be entered for two time periods for each year and then compared over several years to see trends.

The input forms collect the data and keep it in a secure database that you may access at anytime over the internet.  No office has to be open nor do you need to speak to a special staff person, data input and report access is all controlled by you!  These reports can be printed and provided to Medical Directors, Managers and other administrators to show your strengths and challenge areas.  We also hope these reports will be used in your marketing efforts.  Only you will see your data and your comparisons.  No one has access to your information.  Your Quality ID number is your access code.

Within the next year, we plan to develop benchmarks for the indicators and continue to include additional indicators.  Also, centers will have the opportunity to become a Certified Quality Breast Center and then ultimately, a Certified Breast Center of Excellence .  Each of these certifications has its own set of criteria which must be met by a center and its staff.  It is a way to recognize those centers who care about providing quality care to their patients and are willing to gather data and quantitatively measure the quality care.  Information on criteria will be presented later this year.
