Coronavirus NCoBC 2020 Update

Updated: March 14, 2020

Update: NCoBC Annual Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference April 3-8, 2020

Thank you to all of our attendees, speakers and exhibitors for your patience and understanding as NCBC leadership has been monitoring and gathering information to make an evidence-based decision regarding the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) and hosting our annual meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Made apparent by recent reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus continues to spread globally and now has been identified as a pandemic that needs the attention of all to mitigate this global situation. A National emergency has been declared by the President of the United States March 13, 2020

It is clear that cancellation is unavoidable given the nation-wide travel bans on non-essential travel mandates impacting a majority of our membership, speakers and exhibitors. This will be the first time in 30 years that National Consortium of Breast Centers has had to cancel its annual NCoBC Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference.

Our NCBC leadership also recognizes that being medical professionals, our involvement is needed on the frontlines in our respective organizations, hospitals and clinics.

NCBC will individually contact all of our attendees, speakers and exhibitors. NCBC will roll over registrations to next year.  Please be patient and allow us 3-4 weeks as we work through these challenging times. We will continue to provide the highest level of customer service to all of our membership and community.  We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sandhya Pruthi

NCBC President
