Biographical Info

Sharsheret, Hebrew for “chain”, is a national not-for-profit organization, that supports women and families, facing breast cancer, at every stage – before, during and after diagnosis. We provide free support directly to women across the country through twelve national programs, and offer patient education programs through hospitals and medical centers. Sharsheret also offers free cultural competency trainings for health care professionals. Topics include hereditary breast cancer in the Jewish community, survivorship, clinical interventions, and what’s Jewish about breast cancer.
