Position Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, perform a variety of clerical/secretarial and administrative support duties to assist the Executive Director in project management including but not limited to; virtual webinar development for continued education, facility campaign messaging, virtual connections with membership supporting NQMBC, Navigation, Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment, Social Media, assist with monthly e-newsletter messaging for breast wellness magazine and management of the advocate program, assist with “special task force” and other ED supported committee(s) workload follow-up as needed.

 

Requirements:  Full-time position; Must attend the annual conference and regional travel.

 

Experience: Any combination equivalent to associate degree in business digital marketing or experience in a related field. Knowledge of the healthcare industry, enjoys and has experience in marketing and strategic messaging of programs:  Must be organized, detail oriented, personable, able to multi-task with accuracy. Must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines and have confidence to function in a fast-paced and intense work environment.  Must have professional telephone skills, be able to respond to emails and phone calls professionally and in a timely manner and must possess a positive work attitude.

 

Knowledge:

  • Computer programs such as but not limited to: Excel, Access, Word, Group Mail, Outlook Express, constant contact, survey monkey and Adobe Acrobat
  • Operate a variety of office machines including computer, fax, calculator, copier, credit card machines, scanner, binding machine, postage machine.
  • Social Media experience/knowledge
  • Must know how to use Internet to research.
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action, know when to get Executive Director involved.
  • Work independently with little direction, self-motivating
  • Plan and organize work.
  • Meet schedules and timelines.
  • Positive attitude and must be able to accept constructive criticism.

 

Programs and Projects:

  • Management of the advocate program,
  • Assist with monthly e-newsletter messaging for Breast Wellness Magazine
  • Virtual webinar development for continued education
  • Facility membership campaign messaging
  • Membership connection: supporting NQMBC, Navigation, Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment
  • Social Media
  • Assist with “special task force.” and other ED supported committee(s) workload & follow-up as needed.
